Holistic Medical Massage
Following new training with the Jing Advanced Massage Training team,
I am pleased to be able to offer a range of new and more effective
ways of working.
This exciting new way of working encompasses Eastern
techniques such as Thai massage and Shiatsu, along with the benefits
of myofascial release, gentle "listening touch" and modern Sports
Massage techniques such as Trigger Point therapy and advanced
stretching techinques.
Whether you have a pain condition,
stress-related problems, or you just want to relax, this new training
opens up a whole new "toolkit" of techniques to work with.
Hand, Arm and Wrist
I recently completed a course focusing on treating the arms, especially the wrists and lower arms.
Typical Problems: Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, Repetative Strain
Injury (RSI), aching wrists, wrist sprain, pain in the arms and wrists, thoracic outlet
syndrome, tennis elbow and golfers elbow.

Pregnancy massage
Although I already offer massage to pregnant women, I am planning on
undertaking specific training in Pregnancy Massage, which will give me
a whole new "toolbox" of techniques for pregnancy, including a whole
routine for the client lying on their side.
Baby Massage
I hope to soon undertake training in teaching Baby Massage to parents or carers.
Both of these courses will be with the wonderful Jing Advanced Massage Training.
Advanced Massage Courses
All of the following courses are advanced massage courses, that build on the training and
qualifications I already have.
All of these courses focus on a specific area of the body, and would teach me more sophisticated
techniques for treating all sorts of problems in that area. I've listed some typical problems
that each course would help me to treat more effectively.
Each course includes trigger point therapy, soft tissue release, myofascial release, stretching
and Eastern massage approaches for that part of the body. You may remember that I have already
started to use some of these techniques after the foundation course I took.
Lower back course
This course would teach me a range of techniques to treat the back generally, and particularly
the lower back area.
Typical Problems: Lower back pain, "slipped disc", sciatica
Neck and upper shoulders
This course would give me lots of ways to work on these areas, whether you have problems here
or not. Also teaches how to treat this area with you lying on your side.
Typical Problems: Neck and shoulder aches and pains, whiplash,
torticollis (wry neck), neck strain, headaches and migraines
Shoulder girdle
This course would teach me how to work on all of the muscles that move the shoulder around,
lifting the arm up, and around. Also teaches how to treat this area with you lying on your side.
Typical Problems: Frozen shoulder, rotator cuff injury and
stiff shoulder joints.
Seasonal Offers
During autumn, upgrade your standard Reflexology, Indian Head Massage or Hopi Candle treatments to
include pampering Hot Stone treatment for only £5 (usual price £10) - just the thing as the weather gets colder.

New Treatments
As a committed professional I believe that ongoing training
is the foundation for a good therapist, so new training is
regularly undertaken
both to reinforce existing treatments and skills and to provide
new ones. For a limited period during and after new training
schedules, existing clients are offered brand new treatments
at significant discounts. This offer is not available to
new clients.
Host/ess Vouchers
If you host an Aromatherapy or Pamper Party, you will be
given vouchers in proportion
to how much is spent at the party. You may
get enough for free treatments! This offer is open to all.
Introduce a Friend
Introduce a friend and get an extra treat! Any client who
introduces a friend that goes on to book a normal price treatment,
receives
a little extra on top of their usual treatment as a thank-you.
For example, you might get a luxurious Aromatherapy facial
massage with an Aromatherapy massage, or an Aromatherapy
foot massage with a Reflexology treatment.
